Watkins Moving On

Duquesne University head men's basketball coach Jim Ferry has announced that forward Isaiah Watkins (Toronto, Ontario/St. Benedict's Prep) plans to transfer and will not be part of the DU basketball program in 2014-15.
"Isaiah has informed me of his plans to transfer," said Ferry. "He is a great kid and we wish him and his family the best of luck in the future."

Watkins, a 6-7 forward, missed the first six games of the season while recovering from early-October arthroscopic knee surgery. He made his debut vs. Penn State on Dec. 11 and averaged 1.4 ppg and 1.4 rpg in 16 games as a freshman.
The Toronto native scored a season-high four points three times and logged a season-best 12 minutes in three games.
He saw action in two of the final seven games of the season.
