The Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals are being held today at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.

In the first game top seeded CBA ran past Keyport 77-45. The Colts jumped out 20-11 and were in control throughout. 6-foot-4 UMBC bound Sr. Brian Neller led the balanced attack with 16 points. 6-foot-3 Sr. Jon Rohan came off the bench to add 15. 6-foot-3 Sr. Shawn Dowd paced Keyport with 12.

In a tightly contested game that was close throughout, Freehold Boro pulled away slightly in the last minute for a victory over Middletown South 62-60. 6-foot-3 Sr. Andrew Gerbehy paced Freehold Boro with 23 points. 6-foot-5 Jr. Kyle Cancillieri was brilliant for South with 30 points, 12 in the final quarter.

Neptune outsprinted Asbury Park 81-59 in a game played at breakneck speed. 5-foot-10 Sr. Dwayne Gutridge ran the Scarlet Flyers attack with 15 points and 5 assists. 6-foot-3 Jr. Joe Anderson had 13 for Asbury.

In the nightcap Monmouth pulled away from St. Rose in the second half for a 62-49 win. 6-foot-3 So. Loren Jackson came off the bench and scored 14 points to lead Monmouth. 6-foot-8 Sr. Sean McPaul scored 15 for St. Rose.
