The 40th Annual Peddie School Invitational always includes three of the finest NJ prep schools as well as some out of state teams.
Some game results from Saturday:
In the first game Hun topped Princeton Day Academy MD 61-54. 6-foot-2 Sr. Fergus Duke led the balanced attack with 16 points and 4 treys. He had 3 3's in the third quarter. Hun had four players in double figures. 6-foot-8 Jr. Josh McGilvray added 14. 5-foot-9 Terrance Wright paced Princeton Day with 21, 15 in the fourth quarter.
In the second game Lawrenceville thwarted Westtown PA 57-41 as 6-foot-6 Jr. Charles Card-Childers tallied 15 pointc. 6-foot-7 American bound Sr. Yilret Yiljep scored 11 for Westtown.
In the nightcap the host Peddie team came back to beat St. Benedict's Prep team 61-52 after trailing 43-40 heading into the final quarter. 6-foot-7 PG Wes Dickinson was high for Peddie with 24. 6-foot-3 LIU bound PG Jahmal Lane tallied 18 for St. Ben's, 12 in the first quarter.
