Prime Time Results

We drove up early Sunday to Roselle Catholic for teh second day of the Prime Time Shootout. 9 of NJ Hoops top 25 teams were in action in the seven game slate.
In the first game in a good one, Benedictine VA edged #17 Columbia 62-60. 6-foot-5 Indiana bound Sr. Robert Johnson had 29 for the winners, 12 in first quarter. 6-foot-2 Jr. Mike Runcie went for 27 for Columbia.

Chester PA beat #18 Union Catholic 61-55 as 6-foot-2 Sr. Mahir Johnson tallied 22. 6-foot-6 Jr. Isiah Still paced UC with 25.
In the third game Our Saviour New America NY stopped Pace Academy NC 66-56. Kobie Eubanks dropped in 5 treys and 23 points. 6-foot-8 Liberty bound Sr. Stavian Allen paced Pace with 18.
In the middle game #20 St. Mary's Elizabeth beat a young Commonwealth Academy MA team 57-47. 6-foot Jr. Dontae Julius had 15. 6-foot-2 Fr. Shyhien Hicks had 9 for Commonwealth.
In a very good game #6 The Patrick School edged. #7 Point Pleasant Beach 54-52. 6-foot-4 Sr. Daniel Knight led a balanced Patrick School attack with 15. 6-foot Sr. Matt Farrell led Beach with 22.
In the sixth game #1 Independent St. Benedict's trimmed #13 Pope John 58-56. 6-foot VCU bound Sr. Jonathan Williams went for 17, 7 in the fourth quarter. 6-foot-3 So. James Scott scored 16 for Pope John.
In the night cap #8 St. Peter's Prep got past #11 Roselle Catholic 71-62. 6-foot-7 So. Veer Singh hit for 20 including 4-4 ft's in the final minute as the Marauders pulled away. 6-foot-3 Jr. Isaiah Briscoe had 21 for Roselle Catholic.
