Playaz Take Nike Peach Jam Championship
The Nike EYB tour concluded this past week with the Nike Peach Jam. All the top Nike travel teams from around the country were competing in North Augusta SC. The NJ teams or teams with NJ players were the Playaz, Team Final, Team Scan and NY Lightning.

The top 8 teams advanced into the championship bracket.
In the quarterfinals: The Playaz beat the Texas Titans 66-59. 6-foot-3 Roselle Catholic Sr. Isaiah Briscoe scored 18. Team Scan edged Hoops 66-61. 6-foot-5 Gill St. Bernards Jr. Tyus Battle hit for 21 hitting 5-8 treys.
In the semis: The Playaz beat Scan 65-55. Briscoe netted 18 hitting 10-11 ft's. Battle had 18 for Scan.
In the championship the Playaz edged Team Penny 85-83 with Briscoe scoring 20 and grabbing 12 rebounds.
