NJ Teams Live in AC Recap

The Live in AC Tournament was held July 23-25 at Richard Stockton College and other nearby locations.
This event featured four different age divisions.

17 & Under Division
There were 48 teams competing.
The NJ teams were Mount Laurel Heat, NJ Elite, Hoop Heaven Heat, ShoreShots Dunne, Raritan Roundballers, Roadrunners, Jersey Jayhawks, Wayne PAL, Paterson Playaz, Jersey Shore Warriors, Prestige, South Jersey Domination, Central Jersey Future Stars, King Street Kings, Wayne PAL Hargraves, Got Game, Team Final Black, Cyclones
In first round games:
Mount Laurel Heat lost to Hunting Park Warriors 55-50. Hoop Heaven halted MJ Elite 51-42. The ShoreShots Dunne edged Southern Tier Rage 59-57 despite 19 from 6-foot-4 Matawan Sr. Jason Dunne. The Raritan Roundballers fell to South Central Select 56-54. The Roadrunners lost to Positive Direction. The Jersey Jayhawks edged the Wayne PAL Wolfpack 63-62.
In the second round:
The JS Warriors lost to Stamford Peace. The Paterson Playaz ousted the NY Falcons. Hoop Heaven held down Team Price 63-44 as 6-foot-2 Gill St. Bernards Jr. Adam Mitola tallied 17. The ShoreShots Dunne fell to Team Takeover Orange. The Jayhawks lost to the PA Renegades.
Prestige outscored the Maryland Bulls 74-54. SJ Domination edged Charleston Playmakers 60-59. The CJ Future Stars fell to BC Eagles 42-29. The King Street Kings topped LI Lightning 60-53. Wayne PAL Hargraves were edged by LVBR 67-64. Prestige lost to Philly Pride 62-59. Got Game got past SJ Domination 41-34 with 6-foot-7 Union Catholic Sr. Isaiah Still scoring 14.
In the Sweet 16
The Paterson Playaz ousted Hoop Heaven 56-46. Got Game lost to Philly Pride. King Street Kings shorted LVBR 66-54. King Street Kings thwarted Team Final Black. The Cyclones lost to LVBR 47-42 despite 13 from 6-foot-3 Carteret Sr. Jaquan Robertson.
In the quarterfinals:
The Paterson Playaz were edged by Stamford Peace. The King Street Kings edged Crusader Nation 52-50 as 6-foot-2 Bergen Catholic Sr. Anthony Uribe scored 13.
In the semifinals:
The King Street Kings topped Philly Pride.
In the championship:
King Street Kings fell to Stamford Peace.
16 & Under Division
There were 36 teams competing.
The NJ teams were: Jersey Shore Warriors, ShoreShots Rice, Team Final, South Jersey All Stars, Tar Heels, South Jersey Select, Team Final Black, Jersey City Boys Club, Jersey Shore Warriors Gold, Roadrunners, Team NJ Elite.
In preliminary round action:
The ShoreShots lost to JS Warriors Blue. South Jersey Select lost to South Central Select 55-46. The Roadrunners lost to CBC 46-43.
In the first round:
The JS Warriors topped the Brooklyn Rens. Team Final Blue outscored LI Lightning Disparra. SJ All Stars trimmed BSA 73-67. The Tar Heels lost to DC Blue Devils 78-29. Team Final Black overcame South Central Select 64-51. The JC Boys Club shut down MD Bulls 62-35. The JS Warriors beat MD 3D Davis 57-49. NJ Elite lost to Middlesex Magic 66-65.
In the second round:
Team Final Blue fell to House of Sports. Team Jersey Elite lost to Team Philly. The CJ Future Stars were beaten by MD #D. The JS Warriors Gold eclipsed the Radiant Suns. ShoreShots Rice lost to Fairfax Stars.
In the Sweet 16:
Team Final Blue ran past JS Warriors Blue 74-41. The SJ All Stars lost to DC Blue Devils 64-36. JC Boys Club overcame Team Final Black 64-47. The JS Warriors Gold lost to Team Takeover Black 76-56.
In the quarterfinals:
Team Final Blue lost to DC Blue Devils. The JC Boys Club edged Team Takeover Black 67-66 as 6-foot Seton Hall Prep Jr. Steve Ferraro scored 18.
In the semis:
The JC Boys Club beat Maryland 3D
In the championship:
The JC Boys Club lost to DC Blue Devils or Team Takeover Orange
15 & Under Division
There were 32 teams competing.
The NJ programs were: Team Final Blue, NJE Prep Stars, Hoop Heaven Elite, South Jersey Jazz, Play Hard, Prestige, Playaz Gold, Team Final Black, Roadrunners, Jersey Shore Warriors, NJ Elite.
In the first round:
Team Final Blue beat NJE Prep Stars 75-47. Hoop Heaven lost to Team Takeover Orange 60-36. The SJ Jazz ousted Boston Spartans. Play Hard Squad fell to Team Takeover Black 61-32. Prestige edged Team Philly 56-52. Playaz Gold beat AG Wave 65-45. Team Final Black lost to Team adidas. The Roadrunners were stung by Northeast Sting 56-48 despite 22 from 6-foot-3 Bergen Catholic So. Taj Benning. The JS Warriors fell to Long Island Lightning. NJ Elite lost to U-Play Canada.
In the Round of 16:
Team Final Blue thwarted Team Takeover Orange 60-51. The SJ Jazz lost to the York Ballers 71-58. Prestige Patriots fell to Team Melo 66-46. The Playaz Gold outscored Riverside Hawks 72-64
In the quarters:
Team Final Blue beat York Ballers 63-40. The Playaz Gold beat the NE Sting.
In the semifinals:
Team Takeover Black ousted Team Final
Playaz beat DC Premier 62-57 as 6-foot-3 Hudson Catholic So. Pat Strzala scored 19 with 4 treys.
In the Final:
Team Takeover Black beat the Playaz 68-58. 6-foot-3 Patrick School So. Marcus McClary tallied 14 for the Playaz.
