NJ Teams at Summer Classic

The Hoop Group Summer Classic Tournament was held July 16-17 at Competitive Edge in King Of Prussia Pennsylvania and Philadelphia University. There were three different age divisions in this competitive invite only event.
17 & Under Division

There were 32 teams competing.
The NJ teams were Team Final Black, King Street Kings, Team Jersey Elite, NY Falcons, Team Speed and Raritan Roundballers.
In first round games:
Team Final Black beat Syracuse Select. King Street Kings lost to Team Pennsylvania 62-58 despite 16 points from 6-foot-2 Columbia Sr. Mike Runcie. Team Speed ran past Philly Triple Threat 56-39. 6-foot-7 Camden Catholic Sr. Brendan Crawford had 13 and 3 treys. The NY Falcons lost to QC United. The Raritan Roundballers fell to High Rise Team Up 71-57 despite 12 points from 6-foot-3 Rutgers Prep Sr. Levi Holmes. 6-foot-2 recent Morristown grad Sean Hoehn had 12 for High Rise. Team Jersey Elite came up short versus House of Sports.
In the second round: Team Final Black lost to Expressions 62-52 despite 12 points from 6-foot-4 Holy Spirit Sr. Johnathan Middleton. Team Speed was slowed down by QC United.
16 & Under Division
There were 32 teams competing.
The NJ teams were Team Jersey Elite, Team Final Black, NJ Soldiers, Jersey Shore Warriors Blue, Jersey Shore Warriors Gold and Sports U.
In the first round: Team Jersey Elite beat Team Pennsylvania. Team Final Black topped 6th Man Warriors. The Soldiers handled Westside United. Sports U lost to Team Philly. Jersey Shore Warriors Blue lost to Connecticut Basketball Club. Jersey Shore Warriors Gold fell to East Coast Fusion.
In the second round: Team Jersey Elite lost to DC Thunder. Team Final fell to FBCG Disciples. The Soldiers lost to the York Ballers.
15 & Under Division
There were 8 teams competing.
The NJ teams were Team Final Blue, Crusaders, Jersey Shore Warriors, South Jersey Jazz.
In the first round: Team Final beat Baltimore Supreme. The Crusaders thwarted Baltimore's Finest. The JS Warriors handled Virginia Elite. The SJ Jazz lost to the NYC Jayhawks.
In second round contests: Team Final ousted the Crusaders 76-41. The JS Warriors lost to DC Thunder.
In the semifinals: Team Final Blue topped Team Nelson 68-51. 6-foot-6 St. Augustine's So. Justyn Mutts had 7.
In the championship: Team Final overcame DC Thunder.
