COLUMBUS, Ohio-Thad Matta, head coach of the Ohio State men's basketball team, announced the addition of Jake Lorbach and Andrew Goldstein to the Buckeyes' roster Monday. Lorbach is a sophomore while Goldstein is a junior.
Goldstein is a 6-foot-3-inch guard from Marlboro, N.J. He played for Marlboro High School, where he became the Mustangs' second-leading scorer in history with 1,069 career points. He averaged 18 points, five rebounds and three assists during his prep career.
He helped his prep team to the school's furthest run in the New Jersey state playoffs as a senior (2010). After high school, Goldstein played a season at Brookdale Community College before transferring to Ohio State.
