MAPL - Friends Challenge Results

On Saturday the first day of the MAPL (Middle Atlantic Prep League) - Friends Challenge took place with four games at the Hun School in Princeton. Three of the four NJ MAPL teams were in action playing against teams from the Pennsylvania based Friends League.
In the first game Friends Central PA topped Peddie 61-55. Friends Central was up 9 early in the fourth quarter, Peddie tied it with under three minutes left but could not get the lead. 5-foot-9 Sr. Billy Cassidy buried 5 treys and had 22 for the winners. 6-foot-1 Postgrad DeAndre Haywood tallied 21 for Peddie.

In the second game Abington Friends PA shut down Hill School PA 49-37 as 6-foot-1 Jr. Jordan Greene scored 15.
In the third game game Blair blitzed Westtown PA 72-34. 6-foot-1 Jr. Sean Lubreski buried 6 treys and had 18 points for the winners. He had 4 treys in the first quarter as Blair jumped out to a 25-5 lead.
In the last game Hun thwarted Shipley School PA 87-62. 6-foot-2 Sr. Fergus Duke notched 21 points and 4 treys.
