Jingle Bells Jubilee Results

On Friday we drove up to Paterson for four games in the Jingle Bells Jubilee. Two consolation games and two semifinals are on the schedule. The strong NJ field includes 3 top 25 teams
In the first consolation game Paterson Kennedy trailed 38-30 heading into the final quarter but 5-foot-10 Fr. Alphonso Gee took over the contest. He scored 14 of his 20 points in the final stanza, pushing Kennedy to 54-46 win over Passaic Valley. 5-foot-8 Fr. Jihad Wright tallied 11 for PV.

In the second consolation game Piscataway Tech beat Passaic 46-34. 6-foot-4 Jr. Jordan Lackey finished with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Piscataway Tech. 6-foot-3 Sr. Gervon Williams notched 9 for Passaic.
In the first semis Teaneck blitzed Newark Tech 88-60. 5-foot-7 Sr. Shakir Lindsey tallied 22 points and 4 assists. 6-foot-6 Sr. Dwayne Murrill and 6-foot-3 Sr. Rakwan Kelly divided 36 for Newark Tech.
In the second semifinal Hackensack handled Irvington 70-53 as 6-foot-3 Sr. Jamik Moore had 21. 6-foot-2 Sr. Elijah Brown scored 15, 10 in final quarter for Irvington.
The championship and 3rd and 5th place game are set for Sunday.
