Holiday Hoops for Troops Results

On Wednesday we drove up to Roselle Catholic for the first night of the Holiday Hoops for Troops event. One of the highlights of the event is the return to NJ of former St. Pat's Coach Kevin Boyle. He brought his nationally ranked Montverde Academy team from Florida up for the last game each night. The first night card included three boys games.
In the first game Plainfield shut down Rumson 60-34. Plainfield jumped out 31-5 at halftime and was never headed. 6-foot-1 Jr. Christian Cook scored 19 points off the bench for the Cardinals. 6-foot-5 Jr. Jack Herrman had 8 for Rumson.
