Former Hightstown and Covenant College Prep star Kessly Felizor has signed a pro contract.

The recent New Haven grad who will join CB Benicarló for the 2020-21 season. Felizor completed his New Haven career 26th all-time on the scoring list with 1,135 points and is just the 18th player in program history to score at least 1,000 points and pull down at least 500 rebounds.

The LEB Plata League, which celebrates its 20th season of competition, is scheduled for an October 10 start. CB Benicarló is slated to compete in the leagues Silver East Division and will open their 2020-21 campaign facing CV Prat.

Described by his new team as a 'fierce defender, with amazing energy and good shooting skills', the 6'7" power forward finished his senior campaign at New Haven second on the team scoring 13.6 ppg while leading the team in field goal percentage at 54.5%. In addition, he led the team with an average of 8.9 rpg, fifth best in the NE10 and led the team with 24 blocks, a career-high, while he was third on the team with 28 steals and 46 total assists, also a single-season career-best.

Felizor was ranked as the 9th best postgrad in the state in the class of 2016 and 130th in the Class of 2015.
