East Wins Al Carino All Star Game

The 37th annual Al Carino All Star game of South Jersey were held Sunday March 23 at Rutgers Camden. There was a senior all star game and an 8th grade all star contest.
In the senior game, the East topped the West 130-108 as 6-foot-5 Wildwood Catholic Sr. Ed McWade hit for 21. 6-foot-5 Bloomfield bound Nick Davidson of Rancocas Valley buried 5 treys and scored 28 for the West.
5-foot-10 Syracuse bound footballer Rodney Williams of Cherry Hill West won the 3 point shooting contest and 6-foot-7 Holy Spirit Sr. Junior Saintel won the Dunk contest.
In the 8th grade game the Blue Team thwarted the White Team 109-84. 6-foot Matt Cotton (headed to Academy New Church PA) had 17 for the winners. 6-foot-1 Marlon Hargis (headed to St. Augustine's) had a game high 24 for White.
