Coaches vs Cancer Results

Sunday morning we drove up to Kennedy High School in Paterson for the Coaches vs Cancer Classic.
In the first game Lakeland topped Fort Lee 45-37. 5-foot-6 So. Jake Catalioto had 19 with 3 treys. 6-foot Sr. Dashaun Washington led Fort Lee with 15.
In the second game St. Joseph's Montvale beat Wayne Valley 6-foot-3 So. Devan Lawson and 6-foot Sr. Quai Jefferson divided 20 for the winners. Lawson provided a spark off the bench. 6-foot Jr. Kyle Greve had 13, 9 in the fourth quarter for Wayne Valley.
Paramus Catholic edged West Milford 75-73 on a basket from 6-foot-7 Sr. Joe Diblasio off a pretty feed from 6-foot Sr. Kareem Coston. Coston finished with 25. 5-foot-8 Sr. Luke Basket had 28 for West Milford which responded from a 53-40 deficit heading into final quarter. He had 11 in final quarter.
In the fourth game Pascack Hills thwarted Passaic 70-59. 6-foot-2 Sr. Robert Tonelli scored 19 for the winners. 6-foot-6 Fr. Jamir Thomas had 12 for Passaic.
Passaic Valley upset Ramapo 65-56. 5-foot-11 So. Jihad Wright had 19 for the winners. 6-foot-3 Sr. Matt Grassi notched 24 for Ramapo.
In the nightcap Paterson Kennedy held off Hackensack 55-45. 5-foot-9 So. Alphonso Gee went for 23. 6-foot-4 So. Edward Emedoh and 6-foot Jr. Prince Taylor divided 24 for the Comets.
