Boardwalk Showcase Results
Saturday morning we drove down to Long Branch for the Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase. We saw four games with 7 shore teams and powerhouse St. Anthony.
In the first game Neptune came back 30-23 halftime deficit to beat Shore 59-49. 5-foot-11 Sr. Shakeem Richardson led the winners with 21. 6-foot-4 Jr. Dan Largey led Shore with 12.

In the second game St. Anthony shut down CBA 64-46 as 6-foot-1 Sr. Tarin Smith scored 16. 6-foot-4 Sr. Chima Ekekeugbor led the Colts with 12.
St. Anthony shot 58% from the floor compared to 34% for CBA.
In the third game in a thriller Long Branch edged Lakewood 50-49. 6-foot Sr. Deon Williams scored on a putback at the buzzer. 6-foot Sr. Terrell Cox led with 17. 6-foot-2 Sr. Dan Niblack tallied 13 for Lakewood.
In the nightcap Point Pleasant Beach beat Jackson Memorial 57-37 to remain unbeaten. 6-foot-1 Sr. Matt Farrell ran the show with 26 points on 81-12 shootong and added 4 assists. Jr. Gino Palummo was high for Jackson Memorial with 11.
