5th seeded Bergen Catholic tightened up the defense in the second half to eliminate 12th seeded Ramapo 71 - 38 in the sweet 16 round of the 46th annual Bergen County Jamboree tonight at Northern Highlands High School. BC limited Ramapo to 4 points in the third quarter and went up 49 - 28 after three. 6'7" Jr. Sean Banks (pictured) led the winners with 18. 6'4" Jr. Dan Gentile added 15 points and 9 boards. 6'0" Jr. Joe Sandberg tallied 10 points and 5 assists. 6'7" Jr. Adrian Joseph had 10 points in his season debut.

5'11" Jr. Steve Grillo led Ramapo with 12 on 4 treys. Bergen Catholic will play the winner of tomorrow's Hackensack - Bogota game next Sunday at Paramus High School.
