Offense: Barnegat runs a multiple spread and returns eight starters. Quarterback has experience with junior Cinjun Erskine (6-foot-2, 205) returning. In addition, junior Ricky Gerena (6-foot-1, 168) started the first three games when Erskine was sitting out 30 days for transferring. Running back has senior AJ Opre (5-foot-10, 198) returning and both junior Tyler McGuiness (5-foot-8, 145) and junior Kevin Hoffman (6-foot-0, 188) will see time here. Hoffman returns as the h-back and McGuinness will battle him here, too.
Returning at wide receiver is senior Ryan Ulrich (5-foot-9, 163). There are a host of players capable of playing here and they include Gerena, junior Kenny Bass (5-foot-7, 148), junior Kyle Morris (6-foot-4, 185), senior Anthony Hause (5-foot-7, 148), sophomore Nick Camarota (5-foot-10, 143), junior Zach Flaherty (6-foot-3, 150), senior Vinny DiGirolamo (5-foot-11, 163), junior Central transfer Manny Bowen (6-foot-3, 185), and senior Bennie Bivens (6-foot-0, 178). The lien has four starters returning in junior tackle Sam Madden (6-foot-7, 340) and senior tackle/three year starter Zach Andrews (6-foot-2, 308), senior guard Greg Moran (5-foot-10, 213), and senior guard Xavier Young (6-foot-2, 250), who moves from tight end. The center will be senior Tom Kampo (6-foot-0, 208), who started on defense.
Defense: The Bengals play a 4-3 and return eight starters and another who started some games. Kampo and Young return at end, while senior Chris Michaels (5-foot-9, 248), Madden, and Andrews were the three tackles last year in a rotation. In addition, Bowen will also play end.

Question Marks: Staying healthy - if they do, they will be alright. They will also need to replace a big playmaker in Pat Moran in the offense.
Recruiting: Andrew is a 1-AA candidate and Moran is anywhere from 1-AA to D3. Opre, Ulrich, and Divens are D3 players. Others can go somewhere with a good senior year.
In the junior class, Madden and Erskine are top prospects. Madden has offers from Rutgers, Boston College, Central Florida, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Miami, Iowa, Pitt, and others. Erskine has offers from Miami and UMass: UMass as a quarterback, Miami as an athlete. Others will need a good junior year.
Coach's Comments: "We have a lot of kids back who saw action. We were a young team and started a lot of sophomores. Other underclassmen started because of injuries. We think this will help us this year and our expectations are high. We play in a tough conference, but our goal is to make the playoffs and we're excited about our chances." - Head Coach Rob Davis
