September 27, 2012Top 25 Groups 1 and 2
Overall, most of the teams did well. Three teams lost, with two dropping out of the Top 25. As mentioned last week, any team that is 3-0 will get at least an Honorable Mention and that I have done just that. Just remember, this is only a poll. I was reluctant to do this initially, but I am having fun doing it. If you're unhappy where you're ranked, it's only a poll.
1 - St. Joe's, Hammonton (3-0). Last week: (1). They have beaten three quality opponents, including two Group 5 schools. Their latest win came against Millville, 35-14, a game that included two goal line stands for the Wildcats. Millville was previously undefeated, ranked #23 in our Groups 3, 4, and 5 poll, and a Group 4 finalist last year in South Jersey. This week: at 2-1 Egg Harbor.
