It's still another loss for Tigers
LSU's 70-63 loss to Kentucky at Rupp Arena on Tuesday night could certainly be viewed from two different perspectives.
Playing without Glen Davis and his 18 points and 10 rebounds, the Tigers stayed toe-to-toe with the Wildcats for 35 minutes. It was a gutty effort by an undermanned LSU squad.
That's looking at the glass as half full.
This time, the Tigers failed to close out not only the second half, but also the first half. LSU squandered all but one point of a 16-point lead in the final 6:40 of the opening half. Then, the Tigers were outscored 10-0 during a four-minute stretch late in the game.
