BadgerBlitz.com MADISON, Wis. - One reporter asked if it was a surprise.
Pittsburgh head coach Jamie Dixon shot back, "You watch him all the time. What do you think? Were you surprised?"
The answer: "A little."
On Saturday, University of Wisconsin junior forward/center Brian Butch put together the best performance of his college career. He scored a career-best 27 points to go along with 11 rebounds in helping the 7th-ranked Badgers roll over No. 2 Pittsburgh, 89-75.
Alando Tucker ended up leading the way with a season-high 32 points.
"He's a McDonald's All-American," Dixon went back, answering the question about surprise. "Everybody in the country wanted him. And he played like it tonight."
